Restoration progress continues at Southeast Lighthouse. In 2024, exterior doors were re-glued, primed, painted, re-hung and copper weather stripping applied to help protect the structure’s exterior envelope from the harsh marine environment. This work was partially funded by a grant from The 1772 Foundation in cooperation with Preserve Rhode Island.
