The Southeast Lighthouse is located 1.8 miles from town. Follow Spring Street to Mohegan Bluffs.


Closed for 2020 Summer season for interior restoration.
Grounds open daily, from sunrise to sunset.

The Rescue of Southeast Lighthouse

In August, 1993, the Southeast Lighthouse was moved back from the edge of Mohegan Bluff after a ten-year campaign that required three Acts of Congress. Beacon on the Bluff: The Rescue of Southeast Lighthouse tells the story.
